Who doesn't know the many virtues of honey?
The therapeutic properties of honey have been known for millennia.
The virtues of honey are numerous and have been known since time immemorial. In his Treatise on the Affections, Hippocrates wrote: "Wine and honey are wonderfully suited to man if, in health as in illness, they are administered appropriately and in just measure, according to the individual constitution."
The "nectar of the gods," as the Romans called it, has an antibacterial effect on the skin thanks to the two types of sugar it contains, fructose and glucose, as well as its enzymes and vitamins. It allows cells to regenerate in a closed environment and, above all, prevents the proliferation of bacteria.
A tablespoon of honey to soothe our irritated throat works in the same way.
A true immune system booster, honey becomes a shield and protects us from external aggressions.
It is very energy-dense and particularly suitable for athletes.
Royal jelly
Royal jelly is secreted by worker bees in the hive. It serves as food for the queen and the larvae of the colony. And it is a veritable treasure trove of benefits thanks to the proteins, sugars, fats, trace elements, and vitamins it contains.
Are you feeling down and have you lost all your energy?
Packed with vitamin B, magnesium, and essential amino acids, royal jelly strengthens the body and combats stress and fatigue. Royal jelly has an energizing effect, is euphoric, and helps with depression.
Propolis
Propolis is a resin collected by bees during foraging.
It is antiseptic.
Bees use it to sanitize the hive. Its properties are identical in the human body: Propolis contains antioxidants and phenols, whose antiseptic properties are well-known. It prevents the production of germs, viruses, and bacteria. It stimulates the immune system.
